Garvald Organic Bread
Garvald is a charity and the bakery is based in Gorgie Road. It provides valuable opportunities for people with learning difficulties. Each loaf is organic, hand kneaded and contains no anti mould ingredients.
Wholemeal Loaf 800g/400g is baked with high quality organic flour (at least 70% UK)
White Loaf 400g is round and soft (like a giant roll) with a golden crust
Oatmeal Loaf 800g is topped with organic rolled oats and is perfect for toasting
Linseed Loaf 800g is a peppery wholemeal loaf packed with healthy linseeds and topped with sunflower seeds.
Tibetan Barley Loaf 800g is a soft dry dough of mixed flours including roasted barley flour and millet.
Black Russian Loaf 600g is a dense rye and wholemeal loaf flavoured with caraway seeds for good digestion
Walnut Loaf 400g is a nutritious nutty loaf made with olive oil and raisins.
Malted Grain Loaf 400g is a soft textured loaf, ideal for sandwiches, made with a mixture of malted grain and white flours.
